I am a mom, travel blogger, and a nurse living in mid-America. I love to travel, explore, try new foods and meet people from all walks of life. I am blogging to share what I love and the adventures which have shaped our experiences as a family.

  1. Thanks for the follow. I have never been to America, so know little about Oklahoma. I expect it’s nothing like London, where I lived most of my life, before moving here to Norfolk, which is probably more like Oklahoma, but smaller.
I also like to travel, or at least I did, when I was younger, and had more money. My blog has a category on that.
    Best wishes from England. Pete.

    • I have never been to London, but I think the closest are the older American cities like Williamsburg, Virginia. Someday I hope to make it to London (Europe in general). There is so much history to explore.

      • One thing we have in abundance is history Carol. Our nearest town, Dereham, dates from around 600AD, and Norwich, the largest city in Norfolk, began as a settlement in Roman times. As for the rest of Europe, it’s much the same, though Rome itself is quite magnificent. When you get the chance, you should do that exploring.

  2. Thank you for the follow, Carole. I hope you get a taste of what life in England’s West Midlands is like. Especialy the Black Country, the epithet given by Queen Victoris in s comment made passing through on a train. This part of the world was once known as the workshop of the world, and most of its rural past was swallowed up by the smoke and grime of heavy industry. Nowadays we seek to restore what we can be restored. I a. Sure there is please to interest us in your blog and I will pass on how to find you to friends. Best wishes
