It is fall officially, as the leaves are starting to change color and the air is decidedly cooler. I personally love this time of year, especially in Oklahoma, since the oppressive heat is over! We have very hot summers here, sometimes with weeks of 100+ weather, so in the summer most people hide inside. It is in the spring and fall that many outdoor activities become more enjoyable, unless you like the intense heat! Yesterday, we went to a local pumpkin patch to enjoy the fall weather and get some pumpkins to paint. We decided against carving this year, since they mold so quickly once they are carved. So I am posting our finished products. There are a variety! It was fun to see the cute little animals at the petting zoo by the pumpkin patch. The little pot belly pigs stole our hearts. They couldn’t have been more than a few months old. 🙂
